Infrared cameras are primarily used outdoors, but can be used indoors as well to monitor warehouses, store rooms or other dark areas. All of our IR cameras are fully weatherproof for outdoor use. During normal lighting they provide a normal picture. When it gets dark the photo sensor automatically turns on the LEDs (light emitting diodes) in order to provide nighttime surveillance. Although the infrared leds provide substantial light for a camera to see, they can barely be seen by the human eye at night.
