Hidden cameras are our largest and most confusing category. It is divided between "Everyday Objects" and "Body Wear". The everyday objects all need electricity, they use household current. Most of them plug into the wall, even the wireless hidden cameras must plug into the wall. Motion detectors, smoke detectors, CO detectors all need electricity as well.

Body wear hidden cameras are battery operated. The small CCD camera is concealed inside the object and a battery pack is included. The camera can be connected to a transmitter to be made wireless. Or you can connect the wire from the camera to a recorder in order to be made hard wired. The wireless receiver is included with all wireless options.
