Most dome cameras are installed in the ceiling. For a clean install you should have access to above the ceiling in order to connect power and video wires. The small camera inside the dome is adjustable for up, down, left, right positioning. Some people do install them high up on the wall instead of the ceiling. The armor dome is weatherproof as well and is specially designed for wall or ceiling mounting. The 444 is a pinhole dome camera and is extremely small and can be quite well hidden in bars, restaurants and other businesses.
