Our digital phone recorders can also be used as voice recorders or room recorders. Only one function can be used at a time though. When attached to a phone they will record both sides of the conversation. A "voice activated" and a "line activated" recorder will both operate identically except the line activated units extend battery life. Our digital recorders are very small and all have built-in non-removable memory which can be used over and over again. The size of memory will dictate how much storage ability they have.
Digital Recorders
Digital recorders are small recording devices that will record both sides of a telephone conversation. They are designed primarily for home use, one phone number. When used in an office environment the handset headset adapter is required in order to bypass the digital portion of a business telephone. If you have VOIP you must use the headset adapter regardless. The DPR-12 and 24 will not work with DSL.
Analog recording devices relates to the use of cassette tapes instead of digital storage. Many people still require this type of unit. Very simple to use, but not a lot of recording time compared to our digital recorders.
All of our microphones are powered. The Universal Mic is our most popular and can connect directly to a TV or VCR. It will also operate in conjunction with a surveillance camera. The 1119 series is similar to the 1116 but has a much longer wire. The 1120 series is primarily designed for our digital phone recorders.
These are items that are affiliated with audio but are not phone recording devices. Some are options when ordering other audio devices. A couple of the products are complete on there own such as the parabolic ear.
